Gialos, Egremni, Porto Katsiki In the north side of Lefkas you will see Gialos, Egremnus and Porto katsiki, which is one of the most beauriful beaches in the Meditteranean. The first one, Gialos is a beach with sand, rocks and very clean water. The next one Egremni, is one of the most famous beaches in the island. Its name comes from the scraps tha exist around it. 350 steps will lead you to a sandy beach with clean and turquoise water. The beauty of this beach is really unique. Finally Porto Katsiki is one of the most famous an awardes beaches. The combination of green trees, white rocks and blue water will make you adore this beach. You can reach Egremnus and Porto Katsiki not only by car or taxi, but also by boat which departs from Nidri. The local bus itineraries from Lefkas to Nidri are very often. Agiofili You can visit Agiofii beach by boat, which departs from Vasiliki. Agiofili is a small beach with pebbles and clean water. Vasiliki is in the south side of the island, 40 km away from the city center. You can go there by car or by local bus. « α |
